Caruso Steam Rollers Review
Curling irons, hot rollers, flat irons – you name it, it has been tried. Curls are a hot commodity. They add volume, body and sass to hair. Unfortunately, the curls created by these three tools never last very long. That's where Caruso steam rollers come in and save the day.
Rather than traditional methods of curling, which involve the use of a heated tool, the Caruso steam hairsetter uses the power of steam to create long lasting curls. The best part? These rollers cause no damage to hair. Tiny molecules of steam penetrate the hair shaft and create beautiful, strong and healthy curls that last until your next shampoo.
Traditional hot rollers can be very hard to work with and have been known to cause a burn or two. Caruso's rollers are much easier to set and actually stay in place. The roller itself is made of foam and comes with a shield that locks the roller into place. To use: simply wrap a section of hair around the roller and clip on the shield. It is that easy! Older Caruso models required the use of salt in the water reservoir, but this new model does not.
The only gripe with this hairsetter is the fact that you have to heat up each roller, one at a time. However, the roller is typically ready to go by the time you have sectioned off your hair, so this is really not a big deal.
Caruso steam rollers work with any hair type and length. There are three different editions available:
- Caruso ProTraveler 14 Molecular Steam Hairsetter
- Caruso SalonPro 30 Molecular Steam Hairsetter
- Caruso Diva Deluxe Roller Gift Set
One of the nice things about the Caruso steam hairsetter is the fact that it's portable. Because the setter is built to heat one roller at a time, the machine is compact. If you are a frequent traveler, this is the perfect tool. You enjoy the extra bag space and your hair enjoys long lasting curls.
